Prolapsus-Uterus
This is a condition in which womb falls from natural position on account of relaxed state of its ligaments;a consequence of severe labor,and enlarged and inflammated state of the womb.The organ comes down until it appears at the orifice of the vagina,and may even protrude.
In recent cases rest in the recumbent position will allow the parts to recover to their original state themselves.In older cases support must be used,and some form of pessary should be applied.
